We believe the natural resource challenges of our time – climate change, water scarcity, biodiversity loss, rising demand for food, and more – require active engagement from committed private capital at scale. We aim to demonstrate that sound environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices can mitigate risks, reduce costs, and create co-benefits alongside market returns for investors. That includes incorporating sustainability policies and personnel across the process, from due diligence and pre-investment protocols, to impact-oriented management strategies and ongoing tracking and reporting.
RRG Capital Management, a Renewable Resources Group company, is a Certified B Corporation, signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment, and active member in numerous impact investing and agricultural initiatives. We’re proud to partner with leading environmental non-profits and government conservation agencies on projects around the world.
Aiming to demonstrate how water and land can be managed to better meet the needs of people and the planet, RRG Capital Management partnered with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and its impact investing and sustainable finance team, NatureVest, to establish the RRG Sustainable Water Impact Fund (SWIF). TNC is a global conservation non-profit that, since 1951, has worked to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. The fund seeks to utilize each entity’s expertise in a way that amplifies its complementary strengths, with TNC acting as a technical advisor on conservation matters, while RRG is responsible for SWIF operations, investment execution, and asset management.
